ABOUT ME
As both a literary agent and attorney, I have specialized knowledge in publishing agreements. Some history: I graduated with Honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Creative Writing. I then attended Vanderbilt University Law School, graduating with a J.D. and a focus in Intellectual Property Law. I became a member of the New York State Bar in 2012 and practiced law as a commercial litigation attorney before transitioning into publishing. I started my career in publishing at the Aaron Priest Literary Agency, negotiating the foreign rights deals for a 40-year backlist and building my list. I am currently a literary agent at Stonesong, working in children's and adult fiction and nonfiction. I have negotiated domestic trade publishing contracts, international publication agreements, film rights, and audio deals.
